Sean R. McGinnis

Meet our Captain, Sean McGinnis. Sean is an award-winning MBA, listed in the Wall Street Journal‘s “Best in Class;” and you can find his marketing case-work in Harvard Business Education, among other places both online and in print.
With broad experience across the spectrum of marketing and design disciplines, and industry experience with the likes of McCann Erikson and Mullen, Sean continues to be our chief consultant for marketing and brand strategy, and works hand-in-hand with clients and the Chart Room team for all strategic engagements.

Heather McGinnis

Founder | VP, Client Success
Meet Heather McGinnis, co-founder of Chart Room and visionary in the fields of nonprofit and societal impact. Heather has held Executive Director positions at global nonprofits and has developed educational and instructional design solutions for the likes of the award-winning BB&T University (now Truist) and other learning organizations across the United States and globally.
A lifelong artist, Heather’s experience in the performing arts spans 30+ years. She has worked in professional theatre companies as well as non-profit arts organizations. Heather built a successful career outside of Chart Room as a visual artist, founding and operating an award-winning photography studio for over a decade. Heather supported mission-driven organizations, donating her services to families in need as a Bereavement Photographer for the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation and as an Affiliate Photographer for the Tiny Sparrow Foundation. It was during this time that Heather helped mold Chart Room into the organization it is today – one that focuses its solutions on mission-driven organizations, providing marketing solutions for societal impact.

Our Story

We started Chart Room Creative unofficially a couple decades ago in a hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall bar in in the Florida Keys. The bar was called The Chart Room. It was a mecca for artists, adventurers and explorers — from Jimmy Buffett to the great treasure hunter Mel Fisher, to countless others that have graced its hard-to-find doors.

You see, chart rooms were (and still are) places where dreams were planned, plans were mapped, and voyages began.

To chart a voyage required vision, skill, science, experience, and creativity around hurdles and routes. And when we began CRC, we had a vision to join the same traits required for those voyages into a uniquely next-level solutions provider for our partnering clients.
